We all know the importance of having white teeth since a pretty smile can leave a great impression in people you meet. For this reason, we must be very careful about the things that we eat and drink since some of them might ruin our beautiful smiles. I have to apologize in advance to all the coffee lovers. Coffee is something that most of us enjoy in the morning and frankly, we can’t live without it, but due to the acidic polyphenols that it contains we must limit our coffee intake because that can lead to teeth discoloration and staining. To make matters even worse, if you eat or drink things that are acidic after coffee, that may just help deteriorate the state of your teeth.

2. Soda

Most of us have heard this one already and unfortunately, it is true. Sodas contain sugar in large amounts and that means the bacteria in our mouth get to feed more, and in return, release damaging acids. Drinking soda – even the sugar-free ones – will damage your teeth, so if you like drinking Coca Cola it’s better that you put a limit on how often do you drink it.
