7. Get a workout buddy
Once you’re past the first few months and you’re used to the routine of working out almost every day, you will have to face another demon, that of boredom. The fact is that going to the gym becomes a routine and for most people, it is a boring one. The best way to fight that routine is to work out with someone, and that will help you tremendously since you will be able to do two things at the same time, socialize with your gym partner and also smash those weights. Another benefit of having a gym buddy is that they can push you to reach your potential faster and will even motivate you.
8. Look at it as something you want to do
Along with boredom, looking at it as a punishment is one of the reasons that people stop going to the gym. If you have that mindset, you will not be able to last long, for that reason you must start seeing working out as a positive activity that helps both your body and your mind.
